after meeting in hermosa beach @ palmilla cocina y tequila ( May 2, 2015 ),

through a mutual friend, what started as group late night hangouts in effort to

reset from long work days and recovering from our pasts --

turned into one-on-one intimate moments of what was the start of a true friendship.

we found ourselves getting lost in conversation -- ignoring time, space and people around us --

finding common ground in our love for work, new projects and family, making jokes about life and the crazy world we live in and most importantly our want / need to move on --

move on positively, healthily and with someone like each other right beside us.

 

at the end of every night, our conversations would circle back

to our deepest need + that was to rebuild our family life.

by june 11, 2016, we introduced shane's daughter, mila to our duo

in los angeles @ cheesecake factory at the grove,

a place the three of us still like to frequent.

and on september 4, 2019 @ 6am, after showing shane what he thought was a thermometer ( ha! )

we found out that we were pregnant with zoey and get this!

She was born on the day that we met! May 2, 2020

​

...it's been 8 years and we're just getting started... ;)
